GravPoint is a short experimental physics puzzle game made in 7 days for the ppjjgg jam.

You are the newest officer of the Gravitational Positioning Command - an elite space agency responsible for orbital calculations, planetary launches, and deep-space precision strikes.

Your mission is simple in theory:

Launch a celestial body from a green launch zone into a specific target - a blue finish zone… or something more dangerous.
But here’s the catch:
Once launched, you lose control.
You only get one shot. One trajectory.

Controls:

The game includes a tutorial, but here’s the core:

  • LAUNCH PLANET ->  Hold [RMB] in green zone  -> Drag  -> Release

  • TRACK Objects  -> Click with [LMB]

  • MOVE Camera  -> [MMB]-drag or use WASD

  • ZOOM  -> Mouse wheel

  • PAUSE  -> [Space]

Such a neat idea and with trails turned on I share the sentiment of Kazzad, really mesmerizing. The part I did not enjoy was where we started to have to rush launches, which to me seem the exact opposite of a precision game. I just don’t like to be rushed, when you have to remember and aim in a quite precise manner.

Otherwise presentation is lovely, idea is cool, well done!

Thanks for playing and for the nice comment!

Shameless plug, but if you are interested to see the game played, keep your eyes my YouTube, been recording basically every game I played!

Нифига не понял как играть прошёл 10 уровней и потом у меня было 2 фпс :(

бывает, на самом деле почти у каждого объекта в игре есть шейдер воды, из-за этого лаги, а суть игры - закинуть планету в синюю зону
